FREE access to New York Databases for the month of June!

+13 votes

The New England Historic Genealogical Society is offering free access to all its New York databases through its American Ancestors website for the month of June.  You must register (no credit card required), and it will take you to a page that encourages you to upgrade to a paid subscription.  But if you ignore that and ask to search only the free databases, it will list 58 databases.

Also included in the free database collection are resources for areas outside New York, including probate records for several Massachusetts counties, Vital Records prior to 1850 for several Massachusetts towns, Jewish cemetery records for Boston, Massachusetts, and the Social Security Death Index.
