He had 13 sibs. He was the third. He came to US in 1839 or 1841. He went to school in Philadelphia for a year, then to Vermont (Middlebury). His father was a yeoman and his father before that also. His mother was from Edinburgh, a fine family there. What are the parents names and what happened to all the sibs? Thank you !
