Question

I need some help on my Parker line I got more then one ? would like Census, on Parker-5773, Parker-1782, Parker-1779

My 2nd gr-grandfather was William Parker.  He was born ca. 1790, possibly in N.C.  He married 1819 in Rurherford County, Tennessee.  He is related to the Elder John Parker bunch who migrated to Texas from Illinois in the 1830's.  They were a traveling bunch - Culpeper VA to Elbert County, Ga to Tenn, to Illinois to Texas.  I do not know William's parentage.  I've been trying to ascertain this since the 1970's.

I am hoping this site can bring the breakthrough!

I have had DNA test done on Ancestry.com.  would highly suggest it.  It hasn't helped with my paternal Parkers because I discovered my mother also descended from old Elder John, through a daughter b. 1804 or so in Elbert County, GA.

   1. William Parker Jr. (1817-1900) (Not sure why he'd be a "Jr" if his father had a different first name; do you know?); m . 11 Oct 1839 Lucinda Queen; at least one child:
      1. Daniel Javon Parker (1848-1917) m Delphia Mathis...

It may have been William Solomon Parker for both that is another question. I'm sorry I should have said that.Thanks for your help
