I have entered many existing and historic Boswell branches into Wikitrees, but the links between the UK Boswells and the Irish and US Boswells are not well documented. I hope that through this one name project, and perhaps the use of DNA testing and family records, we will be able to extend connections across many Boswell branches.

I'd love to join!  My first Boswell is Samuel Boswell born abt 1750 - 1760 in VA. Died Feb 1850 in Overton Co., TN.

I would like to help. I descend from George Washington Boswell, born in about 1809 in VA. Died in Vernon Parish (county) Louisiana in 1886. The 1880 US Federal Census states his father was born in Scotland. This is my brick wall.
