How can I award a "Big Heart" badge?

Question

I went to the website to award badges, but the only ones that showed up that fit were the "Generous Genealogist" badges, and when I attempted to award one I was informed that the person already had that one in that color. (They have all 3 colors already.) So, apparently I can't even do it unless I can figure out how to do the "Big Heart" badge (& hope he also doesn't already have all 3 of those, too.)

"Big Heart" isn't one of the badges we can award each other - how about "Super Star" or "Community Star"?  If the person already has all three GG badges, they likely have a long history of being helpful and have been awarded all the appropriate badges - how about sending them a nice thank you note?

The Big Heart badge is earned when someone adopts profiles that have been orphaned,  It is not a badge you can award to someone.

You can award Family Star and Community Star, depending on the persons contributions,   See:  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:AwardBadge

It's nice to see you are making such as effort to award someone for their work.  I'm sure it is appreciated.

In theory.  I adopted a bunch of orphaned profiles from the suggested list and I never got the badge.

Dale The badge you are referring to is not a badge you can award. The only way one gets that badge is by adopting orphan profiles from the Adopt Orphaned Profiles page found here http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Adoptions
