I am looking for any information or pictures of my ggrandpa Albert L. Parker. He was born in West Virginia. I think the state had changed from one name to another . His birthdate is 1861. His father is Thomas H. Parker and mother Caroline Boor. He lived in Bell county, ky at one time. He was married to Emaline (Emma) Hoskins. Any information would be appreciated.

West Virginia officially became a state in 1863. Prior to that, it was part of Virginia.
thank you very much for the history of the states. I didn't know that.
