Binkley Name Study

+15 votes
We have started a Binkley Name Study.  It covers the Binggeli/Binckele/Binkley families.  We know that the name started out in Switzerland.  At least one branch moved to France in the 1700s, with at least some of them immigrating to America.  The spelling changed with each new language, leading to a lot of confusion.  We are working on merges, sourcing profiles, and determining the correct spelling to use for each individual. If you are a profile manager for a Binkley, a Binkley relative, or just have an interest in Swiss/French/America families, please come join us.

How about some Canadian Binkley's??
Yes, Canadian Binkleys too.  Any Binkley from anywhere.  Come join us.
I think we have a Canadian Binkley Category...if not I'll create one for yours!
I would be interested in joining a Canadian Binkley Category. How do I do that?
Hi Carol! I'll email you :)
Thanks Christine.

Thank you Summer. I have just tried adding my first Category (Canada:: Binkley Name Study) to my Profile for Samuel Baringer Binkley. Did I do it correctly? Should I now add that category for all my Canadian Binkleys that are sourced?

Carol, I fixed it for you. Category: Canada, Binkley Name Study already exists but when you entered it, you accidentally entered "Categories" instead of "Category." This is why it showed up red. Fixed!

Thank you so much Summer. Everyone around here is kind and helpful.
