G2G: How do I link a picture or citation to the wife after downloading same into husband's profile?

I made a new profile for the husband of my aunt and downloaded a few pictures into his profile. Thought I was also attaching these pictures to my Aunt and it didn't happen?! I have done this before many times, and never had this issue.

Thanks,

Jeannette

Hi Jeanette

Go the profile with the image, click on the image.

This brings the image onto a new page - towards the top right - you have the option to add/edit.

Then you can link the image to another profile.

This is the logical and perfect answer, however that is what I had been doing. Doesn't recognize my Aunt's profile even though I typed her Wiki ID! Perhaps that is because I had just downloaded these photos to my Uncle's page just yesterday? I just downloaded the pictures manually to my Aunt's page. Very tedious indeed.

Thank you for your prompt answer to my question.

Hi Jeannette

Eg. your own profile is http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Martin-11379 are you using the end section? Martin-11379

Can you provide a link so that we can see the profile is it open or private?

I have/had been using this method all along; however, it just hasn't worked with my new profile page for my Uncle Abraham Goodin that I had just added to my Aunt Margaret's profile page - WikiTree ID: Martin-25118. So, yesterday in desperation (as I had a bit of free time to work on my pages), I downloaded pictures to my Aunt's page as if they didn't exist on Wikitree! I think what happened was that I had initiated a new page for my Aunt's husband, Abe Goodin, and then downloaded the pictures to his new page shortly after that. Probably should have attached them to my Aunt's already existing page and attached them to my Uncle's page. In any case, problem solved. Thank you for your prompt reply and suggestions to fix same.

Sincerely,

Jeannette (Martin-Brideau) Saladino
