I have seen several records for men named Abner Darling in New York, but none that fit the criteria.

Abner Darling that is in my family lived in Sempronius, New York in 1810. According to the 1820 census he lived in Cortland, New York where he bought and sold land. In 1827 he sold land to someone from Connecticut. About 1828 he moved to Berlin, Ohio where he died in 1854. He wasn’t born in Ohio.
