Are my Swedish references good enough for WikiTree? [closed]

+9 votes

Nearly all the ancestors & relatives on my father's side are Swedish. References and biographies are in Swedish.

1.  Can I leave them in that language?

2.  Are and Elgenstierna's "Den introducerade svenska adelns ättartavlor med tillägg och rättelser" and Weibull's "Göteborgssläkter" acceptable sources? They are all secondary sources, but I believe them reliable.

See my answer - use it as a start.... best is primary sources when doing genealogy

Also when adding Swedish sources

  1. Try add Category for the parish ==> you will get more resources to learn more about the family e.g.
    1. [[Category: Oppeby (E)]] ==> link more resources Category: Oppeby_(E)
  2. Also fully qualify the names of locations
    1. Oppeby exist in
      1. Fellingsbro
      2. and Östergötland
