Hello,

The following merge is rejected due to the possibility they might be father and son:

http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:MergePerson&user1_name=Fry-266&user2_name=Fry-25&action=compare

What project we be a good match to get help resolving this issue?

Thanks.

They certainly look like father and son.

The younger one might have the wrong date of death - the rest of the net thinks he died in 1818.

Fry-266 does need merging into Fry-34.
More complicated than I noticed.  The fathers don't match the mothers.

Fry-25 is the real George Peter III and his father should be Fry-266, his mother's husband.

Fry-265, whatever his name was, should then be the son of Fry-25 and his wife Keziah.

I followed the line back - it is very unsourced and implies an early settler to the Virginia Colony, which could be a part of one of the Puritan Great Migration profiles, if it was properly sourced.

The other possibility would be if someone was doing a Fry/Frye One Name Study. I don't know for sure if this is currently happening, but I have seen a number of G2G questions on the name Fry and Frye, so you could consider starting one if it has not already been done.
