Palmer Group DNA study needs Male "Palmers"

Question

If there are any male "Palmers" who claim William Palmer "The Naylor" as thier ancestor, I ask that they consider joining the FamlyTreeDNA.com "Palmer" group to get DNA testing.  This will allow all to  either validate our lineage, or find out if there might have been a few "milkmen" or "hired hands" sneaking around.  I have no matches in the group yet, but onlyone other claims William Palmer "The Naylor" as an  ancestor.

I am a direct decendent of Walter Palmer of Stonington by way of Palmers who ended up in East Haddam, CT. My GGrand Mother, Martha Francis Palmer (interestingly married Herbert W. Gates, decendent of George Gates, a founder) So my GGGrandfather was Francis Mason Palmer who filters back to Walter. My lineage is also traced to Walter via Mathew Smith who married a Palmer and served as a minuteman in the Lexington Alarm during the Revolutionary War, thus making me eligable, and I joined, the SAR
