Women who appeared in Who's Who?

Is it possible to have a category for these women who must have made an impact to be recognised as such?

Good idea for a project :)

The Who's Who series is a great source for contemporary people's biographies.

What I'd do is create Source free space pages for each volume in the series. Then add a link to the source page in the biography you're writing.  Now you can access with one click a list of all profiles that use that source. For example see this list of every profile that cites Gloucester County in the Eighteen-Fifties.

I'd make yet another free space page with links to all the titles in the various series, the publication history, etc.

Happy to help set this up if you're interested. In which volume(s) was she profiled?

Hi H Husted,

To be honest I stopped researching it, after it was deemed not relevant.  There were numerous reports I'd found and as a Professor of English - she'd written several books.

Many kind thanks for your offer - but I will decline at this stage, need to research other profiles and may return to this one with more information.

Thank you.

I was in who's who Among American High School Students I do not put much worth in the whole who's who. I was a decent athlete and decent student. I was not allowed to order the book because my mother said that is how they make their money. Now do I think there should be a cat. for women who have changed the world or done something special or incredible or a first Most certainly.

She had written several books over her life time which were deemed accomplishments for the Women of America.  Thanks Rachel for your reply.

@ J Murray, thank you too for your reply.
Mom was right again.
