I was hoping the 'Hungerford' proj.could verify she's the da. of
John Hungerford (abt. 1566 - 1635) of Down Ampney and Mary Berkeley. I can't find much about her - she's the da. of a Sir John Hungerford but can't find any dates, mothers or manors. Thanks!

the DNBoo says "daughter of Sir John Hungerford of Down Ampney, Gloucestershire (BerryCounty Genealogies, ‘Hampshire,’ p. 174)"

Kirk, Is there a reason you doubt this?  The marriage is found in many secondary sources.  A good number of these refer to a marriage agreement in 1603.
The marriage to William Lisle appears to be well cited as 1603, I wanted to make sure I had the right parents - there are a lot of Sir John Hungerfords of Down Ampney and the ages are off on the profiles.

Her father was 14 when she was born, while Mary Berkeley was 32. The History of Parliament has her parents marriage as by '1588' so she must have been born in the 1590s I'd guess.

I can't find much about her mother & I can't find that source cited by DNB above. The Hungerford pedigrees in Gloucestershire visitations don't have a da. Bridget. Thanks for checking!

I found the reference on ancestry.com if you have access:

Berry, William. County Genealogies - Pedigrees of the Families in the County of Hampshire. (1833)  http://tinyurl.com/gn59vhu

Also on HathiTrust (tricky to find as they titled it Hants instead of Hampshire)  http://tinyurl.com/zsmscl2

It is basically the Visitation of Hampshire taken in the years 1531, 1575 and 1622.

The Berkeley Manuscripts do show John Hungerford and Maud Berkley having a daughter Bridget. http://tinyurl.com/j8qcwbn   I think it likely that the dates need some adjusting rather than Bridget’s parentage needing adjusting – though I haven’t seen it, presumably the marriage contract makes clear who her father is.

I looked for Hants in Google Books, forgot to check HT, thanks! I'll work on those dates.

Added magnacarta tag - If her parents are correct she's a descendant of most MC barons who had children, and she has at least two descendants I found who moved to New England/Virginia. Is she's in the Richardson books?
Kirk - if she's in Richardson's MCA or RA, I couldn't find her.

ps - I just thought to check Marlyn Lewis's database. No Bridget (Hungerford) Lisle that I could find there either. There's one Bridget Hungerford, but she's born too early (c1460, see http://our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com/p1765.htm#i53055). There was one entry of interest: John Hungerford married Bridget Fettiplace, with dates that would fit with a daughter Bridget born after 1540 (but not as late as 1580... according to the info Marlyn posted, John was still alive, and maybe Bridget was too, but she would've been over 60).

Thank's for checking - her parents are in ML, but only one child Mary Margaret.

From the monumental Inscription on his tomb in the church at Down Ampney we know with certainty he had 3 sons and 4 daughters all by his first wife, Mary Berkeley.  He died 18 March 1634 in the 69th year of his age.

Note on p. 63: “Descendants down to the present day from Bridget, one of their daughters, are traced in the Genealogist October 1883.”  Which can be found here:
