Can you say where he lived in America, Province or State, county and city?

He was born in Down County, Northern Ireland 1680, and lived in America at Paxtang,  Lancaster County, Pennsylvania died 12-1-1777, and was married 1700 to Sarah Elizabeth Dickey born 1682-1720

I don't know when John came to America but I was wondering about the use of middle names in this family. I clicked found his profile and his father and grandfather all seem to have middle names. This may be nothing, but for me middle names prior to the American Revolution are a huge red flag. Just a thought.
