Alsom Houghton Evans was the illegtimate son of Polly Bachelder born abt. 1822

Polly Bachelder was born abt. 1780 and died about 1837

alsom married married Mary Quint in 1847

there was a Alsom H Evans on the durham poor rolls 1854-55

in the 1860 census the is an Alson H Evans from NH but in 1870 census he was born in NY. his srevice have many names attached including Alsom and is buried as Alsom H Evans. The New Hampshire and New York Evans have abtout the same birth year
