Anton & Petronella Sluchocki, parents of Adam. They were probably born between 1825 & 1850 as Adam was born in 1868. He married in Rochester, N. Y. in 1886 giving Buherine or Buderine, Russia (probably Russian Poland as he was Polish) as his place of birth & Anton & Petronella as parents. I have not been able to locate this village or anything further on his parents. Any clues of where to go from here?

I cannot locate 'Buderine' in present Poland (maybe this village don't exist now, or was incorporated into bigger town?). But quick research about Słuchocki surname shows, that almost all historical records refers to city Suwałki, province podlaskie in northern Poland:

I have found some records for Adam Sluchocki's sisters, Victoria, Teofila & Eleanora in Suwalki beginning in 1847. Antoni Sluchocki was born abt 1820 & Petronella, who was also a Sluchocki, was born abt 1827. I assume they married about 1846 in Suwalki. Maybe someone out there has more info on Antoni & Petronellas marriage date, other children, their parents names etc.
