Parents of William Kimball (b. 1804?, Vermont; md. 1833 Amanda Westbrook)

+6 votes
Stephen Kimball was born on 01 October 1777, Hopkinton, Merrimack Co., New Hampshire (and brother Jesse born there in 1782), youngest sons of James Kimball and Meribah Roberts (who moved to Sheldon, Vermont). I am trying to prove that either Stephen or Jesse is the father of William Kimball (b. 1804-1805?, Vermont; married 1833, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, to Amanda Westbrook). Records show William was born in Vermont, grew up somewhere in New York state, married in Ohio, and died in Michigan. I suspect Stephen Kimball is his father (who had a son the right age in 1810 Census), but they leave Sheldon, Vermont, about 1813. I have no idea where in New York state they moved, but I suspect that is where Stephen died. More info at William's profile:
