Strathclyde University is repeating their highly successful genealogy course at the FutureLearn site - it runs for 6 weeks starting on 18th July.

I've been working on genealogy for 30 years, but I decided to take the course earlier this year.  I knew I would learn something, and I was right!.  It is a good course.  The supplementary materials (those things you skip because you don't have time) are actually the best part of the course.

Sign up, and read EVERYTHING!  It is free and definitely educational, no matter what your level of expertise.

I would like to sign up but I may not be able to view them right away. I am looking at having a second job that will be taking most of my days and nights. When I am not working I will most likely be sleeping. If I am able to get them afterward I most likely will do it.

Thanks for posting this, much appreciated. I too have just signed up for the course and looking forward to it.  There are a number of aspects that interest me.  You can work at your own pace - no pressure. It is a Scottish University and I am interested in Scottish Families, particularly Mouat and here is an chance to persuade others, on the course, to join WikiTree
