where and when was Baby Boy Reid "stilborn" ?

My brother is said to have been born at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in Ottawa Ontario Canada between 1957 to 1960 . Parents were married and living together with child from her previous marriage b. 1956, Breen. My Mother couldn't get over how The Doctor handle this situation and her loss of a child " No compassion whatsoever and outright insisted " without her consent " to have the hospital take care of all the Burial arrangements for her child, not like she and her husband could afford to, they still would of managed nevertheless this doctor wouldn't let her even see the child to confirm it was deceased. To this day she still believes they switched babies! I need proof of such and to to complete his profile.

There would have to be a birth and/or death certificate. Try the Department of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics (that's what they are called in the US) in Ottawa. You will probably have to pay for a search/certificate.

Oh wow totally unaware someone had answered this question !   Thank You Dale so much for responding to this and will definitely try doing this !  eventhough I left out mentioning that my Mom also mentioned that the doctor had also insisted on doing all the paperwork as well !  They literally left the hospital with nothing less in hand, as was their financial situation at the time and why she never pursued it afterwards.
