who do I talk to about a PM with numerous closed profiles that should be open?

I'd suggest the first step is to contact the PM and find out why. It might be a simple mistake.

there are certain classes of changes that will auto-change the privacy level of the profile (or related profile) without warning, and the manager may not have even noticed that change.

Hi, Dawn!

As Martin suggested, a private message to the Profile Manager is the first step.

I also suggest going to the Tree & Tools tab on any of the profiles you're interested in and using the Unresponsive Profile Manager link. This will walk you through the steps to take when you are unable to get in touch with a profile manager.

You only need to use this process once per Profile Manager because our guru, Paul Bech, will know to check for others in that lineage.

Oh, and one other thing: If the profile you're looking at has a birthdate more than 200 years ago, you can use the Open Profile Request link on the profile menu in the upper right corner (it will be the menu with the profile ID as the link).

Good luck!
