As I have no understanding of anything military, have a question.  I keep coming across UK, De Ruvigny's Roll of Honour, 1914-1919 though see there's no category for this 'roll'.  I've numerous people in both my personal family tree and ONS, or is there a category these people should be linked to?

Yes - have him too - along with many others.  Name sounded posh, important - eg De Ruvigny's Roll of Honour - said I had no knowledge lol.

Not really a Marquis.  Quite prolific, but his over-ambitious projects tended not to get finished.

I thin you will find it is a source rather than something that requires a category.
