G2G: Who was Sir Edward Mortimer of Holmsted, Cuckfield

Any ideas who Sir Edward might be? Manor was held by his son-in-law John Chaloner from 1496 or earlier who is said in the Visitation of Sussex 1574 to have married the daughter of Sir Edward Mortimer of Holmsted. I can't seem to find this visitation online (and the one for 1530 is not helpful, starts with John's grandson Ninian).
