Do you perhaps mean Dinwiddie County? Here's a map of Virginia Counties, extinct counties, independent cities etc which should help you determine which place you need.

1724/5-- WEATHERS, JOHN b. Jan 24, son of Samuel (d. 1729) & Elizabeth Dunn Weathers of Old Rappanock Co., Richmond County... Samuel Weathers was son of John & Margaret Powell Weathers m. 1681. Samuel lived on same land until death in 1729.... leaving wife Elizabeth & 4 children; Thomas b. 1719, Samuel b. 1722, John b. 1725 & Susannah b. 1728. (See 1686).
JOHN WEATHERS, the third son of Samuel & Elizabeth Dunn Weathers was in Stafford Co., Va. for a few years & then removed with his wife & children to Lincoln co., now Gaston co., NC. He left many descendants who migrated to other places. ((The History of Robert Edwin withers, III)
