These are my ggGrandparents. There is no confirmed record of Doc's parents. Several trees claim that he is the son of Lowry McNeese Gray, but I cannot confirm. Family tradition states that Doc would take the family to visit "Aunt Kizzy," assumed to be his sister. I would like to collaborate with others working this branch of the GRAYs.

According to data in FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com.

Doc married Nancy Frances (Fannie) Due on 29 Oct 1875 and they had 12 children.  Nancy died 14 May 1920 in Yonkers Oklahoma.

Doc's father was Lowery McNeese Gray (1814-1875) and his mother was Susan Woodall (1819-1869).  Lowery was also married to Louisa Mariah Simmons (1833-1913).  They were married in 1871 in Lincoln Tennessee.

FamilySearch.org lists Lowery;s parents as John Gray (1790-?) and Kesiah Carrol (1790-1880) but Ancestry.com lists his parents as George Gray (1776-1859) and Lucy Benning (1777-1844).  Not sure which one, if either, is correct.

Hope this helps.
