Renewed request for explanation box for Unmerged and Rejected Matches

I realize this has been asked before (see the # of requests under related questions below), and has been denied before, but I'm going to ask again, because I think that the increase in activity related to db_errors and renewed/continued arborist/merging efforts really really requires this. Arborists, if you agree, please upvote this request.

The only place we get an explanation box for Unmerged Matches (and Rejected Matches, for that matter) is if we are RESPONDING to a merge proposal. There is no explanation box if, when doing an initial comparison, we choose to either postpone (unmerged match) or select reject match.

Such an explanation box is really needed-- on both profiles. ESPECIALLY for unmerged matches. We should explain why we're making that selection. The only way to do so is to add, manually, comments to each profile afterwards. This is really a pain in the ... neck.

Please please make this change. Thank you.

I agree.
Yes, please! If I ever receive a notification of an unmerged match, I'd like to know why the suggester wasn't comfortable proposing the merge right away -- parents who need merging first? different parents? a date discrepancy that's too big to explain away? overlapping spouses in a time/place where monogamy would be expected?  Sure, I might be able to figure it out myself from looking at the two profiles, but it'd save me a lot of time and mental effort if I knew up front what facts I should look into.

Yesterday I rejected a match between sisters with the same name and did have a comment box:

16 June 2016

14:03: You rejected a match of Tailleur-59 and Tailleur-28 with a comment.

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tailleur-59 with apologies for not having gotten around to fix the bio yet.

I also get the comment box, when rejecting a merge. Believe it can't be clicked through without a comment either, as can be done on the box for proposing a merge.

Not recalling, if I've ever done an unmerged match, so don't know what happens with that option, but it does appear with reject.
Yesterday I created some rejected matches between profiles that had not been proposed for merging. I did not get a comment box to explain my action. I believe the comment box appears only if the profiles were a proposed merge.
I believe a comment box is only available when you're responding to a merge request, not when you're initiating directly from the Compare screen.

EDIT: ooops. What Ellen said. ;-)
