Thanks RJ, that sounds interesting. How should I go about having it unlocked, please?
I didn't know of his paintings, you've opened a new world to me; look again at the botanical detail, the precision of delineation, the character he brings to his trees growing in thin sloping soil, staunch but bent against the wind in the hills, the balance of geometries, his subtle handling of misty light and shade, the perspective of the distant sky-lines. For me he captures a dramatic sense of reality, turning the everydayness of the common-place into vibrant living landscapes where you almost feel the breeze on your face. Or maybe it's just the way I look at them?
