Best way to start search for Clint R. Minter at little or no cost to begin.

I'd like to know more about my grandfather's life but I keep hitting a wall. I know there are many websites that will allow me information if I pay for membership. Before I begin paying for memberships, would my local library be able to help me or are there books on the "Minters". My grandfather was born in Marshall County, KY in 1885.

Cyndi's List has listings of lots of online sites and shows whether they cost money or are free.  Her site covers the World, although there are more listings for the USA. As your grandfather was born in Kentucky, here is a link to her listings for Kentucky.
