While G2G is a good place to put forward ideas and ask for help, it does have very serious limitations. For example, a question that is asked, has 50 people who say look at it. That represents 0.0148% of WikiTree members. Then you have no idea as to who the lookers are. This is next to no one.
Another way would be, I suppose, to take a punt and ask a leader direct and hope you get a fair hearing. In this way you are at the mercy of the person you contact as to whether your idea get past on or discretely buried.
I feel there needs to be a transparent path of communication to the top. Where you can be certain that you will be heard and receive a detailed response, after you have been considered.
