I need help on this surname

+9 votes
I have been very successful in finding different surname genealogies, but unfortunately hit a dead end on the Clary name, because no one seems to have any genealogy on this except for one person that wrote a book in the 1980's this one and only book sells for over $7000 on Amazon and have no had any success in finding other people for which share the same info as me. So please look at my Clary line and help me if you can and it is greatly appreciated, becuase I'd like to trace this family line back even further if possible.

Lots of people with the Clary surname in London and Essex counties in England. Population in Scotland shifted after the clearances.
