Why am I getting this "Failed token check Forcing previews"

I noticed a problem, I can't pinpoint the cause. The Bartlett open
page won't make a saver after adding several additions and all
additional work is lost. I have added at least 15 additional names and
checked them with the preview. It looks good so hit save, but I get
that error message "Failed token check Forcing previews". When I go
back in all new work is missing.
What is the cause ?????

You got timeot (edited too long). When you get failed token, hit save again and contents of biography will be saved

There seems to be different time out rules for profile pages versus other pages. Profile pages never seem to time out. Seems odd there are different sets of rules. No great concern on my part though.

Hit save again always works for me, but if you are not expecting it you can overlook it, even though the messaging seems to make it pretty obvious.
So far almost always up till now, hitting save a second time has worked for me.  But once today, I was getting failed token every time over and over, no matter how often I hit save.  I copy-pasted my text somewhere else to make sure it was safe, then tried right-clicking on the link at the bottom ("return to the page without saving"), and opening it in a new tab.  There I copy-pasted my text back in the new tab.  It still wouldn't save.

What finally worked was refreshing the webpage using the refresh button at the top, and then copy-pasting the text back in.  I am posting this here in case it can help someone else if they have the same problem.
Thank you Corinne.  This solved the perplexing and disconcerting problem.  I have created spaces which allowed for creating and editing content, as added, for length periods of time without any timeout, so the "failed token" message was scary.
