Could you look at the results of this search and see if the detail of the Index to Death Duty Registers 1796-1903 entry mentions Chelmsford or Great Baddow. TIA.

The National Archives reference led me to a free download of the register. Just as well because there's no place called Haxton, it's actually Thaxted.
