Can't merge project protected profiles

I have been trying to merge Hayley Mills (Mills-7182) into UNKNOWN Mills (Mills-2101) and Juliet Mills (Mills-7184) into UNKNOWN Mills (Mills-2102) . Since the former of each pair is Project Protected, it won't let me. But when I flip them, it tells me I can't merge a lower number into a higher number. Can someone please change the lower numbered profiles to be the project protected profiles (or temporarily remove their project protected status altogether)? I would be eternally grateful!

You can't merge away protected profiles.  They are protected so they cannot be merged away.

In this case, it would be better to remove the merge, change the gender of both unknowns and merge them into Jonathan.

Now why didn't I think of that? Thanks - that is what I'll do.

Ask the leadership of the Notables Project for assistance.
