Feasibility of adapting Fotorama-like album format to Wikitree?

I am wondering about the feasibility of adapting Fotorama-like album format to Wikitree whereby a string of thumbnail photos is used to selectively highlight the target full-size photo or, alternatively, to scroll through this string of thumbnail photos in either of both directions. This Fotorama-like album format is as shown to great effect at, for example, http://www.perche-quebec.com/files/perche/individus/baudoin.htm#2.

Hi Claude,

Definitely something to consider. We have been looking at converting our lists of photos on profiles to a slideshow viewer for some time. The last time we worked on it we weren't happy with the way it worked on certain platforms/browsers. When we look at it again I'm sure there will be more options, perhaps this fotorama software is a possibility.

Chris, if we do something like that, I'd like to suggest that the old, recurring issue of giving a profile manager the ability to change the display order of photos should be resurrected and addressed.  That would be even more desirable with an album or slideshow format.

Thank you for your most prompt response. Seems to me that availability of album / slideshow algorithm would for some bring considerable 'bang for the buck'.
