Maybe add a Research Note on the profile see wiki/Research_Notes

== Research Note ==

::'''~~~~''' find [[Shepherd-3172]] xxxx
::'''~~~~''' looks [[Sälgö-1]] and xxxx share uyyyy

adding ˙~~~~gives a timestamp ==> you can track when and who added the comment

==> you get something like this

Ok you are working with matching the gedcom and havn't uploaded it yet

I am not 100% but I think what you have done is saved and you can continue later to review it.... lesson learned is take time to review because merging later takes much much more time...

URL is http://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:UploadGedcom&action=report&gu_id=68857

I checked in your GEDCOM file and lessoned learned is

  1. it is better to create profiles manually than import unsourced GEDCOM profiles - quality before quantity
  2. you have 425 names in the GEDCOM file my suggestion is start smaller and learn WikiTree....we strongly encourage you to import just a piece at a time. See splitting a GEDCOM.

Hi Jim,

There should be a save button below the table on the GEDCOMpare page.
