Green-Wood Cemetery -- Why does SEARCH insist on removing the hyphen?

I want to search for people whose grave is at Green-Wood Cemetery.  (That's its name, with the hyphen.)

When I use WT's Google search, the hyphen either disappears or is replaced by a space.  Yes, I tried enclosing the string in double-quotes.

How do I accomplish what i need to do?

Google don't store the entire text, they build indexes.  If they ignore the hyphen when building their indexes, then you can't search for it.

I was just told (can't verify the truth of this) that Google Search uses the "-" symbol to denote the removal of the text following the "-" as a way of refining searches - so it's possible you're running into this. Not sure how to help, but it's possible you're hitting a known "feature" in the product.
