Hello: I am a very long time MARKHAM genealogist. I am now busy to make many basic corrections to one part of the tree, very badly linked etc. This area is also very complex, but I have the primary info to make some of the most important/strategic edits one can ever get here, in time !!!.
[Skipwith-58] needs to be removed as wife of [Markham-528] and only be the wife of [Markham-167]. Basic book value.
[Markham-167] and [Skipwith-58] must have a child Dorothy Markham added.
[Markham-167]: [1495-30+=-1465]: From a will, his birth date must be set at: BEF 1465. In 1495 he is 30y or older.; d:22-02-1508 br: St. Lawrence Church, Sedgebrook, Lincolnshire. I need to make edits to this [Markham-167] profile myself with important notes. [Markham-167] must have a second wife [Margery Armine] added, bn:c.1470, d:11-01-1509 br:St. Lawrence Church, Sedgebrook, Lincolnshire. [Margery Armine] was previously m1. to James Dene b:c.1470 d:29-04-1498 br:Barrowby. They have a son [Bartholomew Dene] b:c.1490 d:Aft.1498.
[Markham-528]: His birth date needs to be set precisely at [1508-22+=-1486]: He is 22y or older in 1508 (Will)] being b:BEF. 1486, 1490 is an estimate. Then John Markham [Markham-528] and [Markham-56] need to be merged. I need to make edits to this [Markham-528/56] merged profile myself with important notes.
[Strelly-2] and [Strelly-3] need to be merged.
I need permission to be able to come in here and give notes myself to this area of Markham etc. I have some very good information to do this!. [Markham-528]: As per main book value, the author had his d:1528 instead of d:1508 !!!. This has caused great confusion to him (Author: Sir Clements Robert Markham) and others, and therefore overlapped consecutive John Markham persons etc. I have the primary references to do this. This information will provide excellent mapping out of persons in this area, and I can do this, over time. I am MARKHAM specific here, so I would not be keen to be editing any other tree etc. I can also add photos, links, write up, update on any Markham book etc., for say Sir John Markham d:1409 etc. I can do this, and want to. Some of this NEEDS to be done, because I have done much since these books were written, and have some very interesting comments I could make and add.
Need to ask: If another person is a profile manager (not pre-1500 accredited) for a pre-1500 person, and I ask that profile manager to place me also as a profile manager for that profile, would I be able to edit that profile ?. I have answers as to why in one ref. a certain is given, and why in another it is different, and which name is correct and why. Thanks - Bart.
