Mine would have to be my g g g g grandfather Duncan "Whisky" Cameron. No prizes for guessing why he got that one. Hahaha

My g g grandmother, Mary Catherine was called "Plum." Not sure why.

A many great grandfather was "La Cloche" or The Bell. He was a cook with Compagnie Fran├žaise des Indes and rang the bell to announce that the meal was ready.

My grandfather, started out life as a young preacher, but earned t the nickname Poker Bil,l  by the time he died.  He did earn the name.

A lady on my husband's side is "Ratsie", even has her license plate on her car "Ratsie".  I have no idea why, but I know it is a nickname.
