My great great grandmother Agnes Jones from Canada, married a Native American Chief (Goddard) she met in New York. Trying to find out more information about them. Agnes Jones Goddard

Do you know from which Nation/Tribe?  The Seneca, Cayuga, Oneida, Onondaga, Mohawk, and Tuscarora were/are in NY and Canada.  The Mohegan, Mohican and Munsee Delaware (Lenape) are other possibilities.   If you look at the specific time and place the Goddard's were in NY you may be able to narrow down the possibilities.
