That is the Chauffeur 's uniform he is wearing. i understand that he was in the Big War as well but I don't have a picture nor do I know what outfit he was with. (Yet )

That's a great 'photo, like the gloves! Have you you checked the records of the Imperial War  Museum? They are doing a project on the great war at the moment.

That is his chauffeur's uniform, he was also in the great war, however, I don't think he did active service in Europe..His son in law was in the Battle of Arras and won the M.M. For bravery.
