... join the Greeter Project!

We are always looking for happy, friendly people who can't help but help others!

Greeters are the first "face" of WikiTree. They welcome visitors to the site, act as a guide to new people who have questions and protect the tree from spam.

If you've been a member for a month or more and are comfortable finding answers to beginner questions, then this is a great project for you, and we would love for you to join us!

You can reply directly to this message to let us know you're interested, and we'll be in touch to get you started!

Thank you, Julie!

Greeters are a big part of what makes our community special.
We can never have too many Greeters!

If you like helping people, this is a great way to do that :-)
I would love to greet and welcome and help others begin their journey at Wikitree! I am interested in becoming a greeter!
I just sent you an email, Emily! Thank you !!
OK can someone send me a private message and explain why all of my offers to volunteer have been quietly ignored.   There has been a number of request over the past year for volunteers, This Greeter request has just been the latest.  I have left messages, I have checked the schedule and offered times that should have been good.  But I never hear anything back.  I would really like to know what the problem is. So would someone please be direct and explain what issues Wiki has with me.
Hi, Doug --

I think this may be my fault. I've been away since the request was published in the newsletter, and I just got back and am trying to get caught up on unfinished business.

We appreciate your willingness to help, and I'll be getting in touch with you as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay! :-)
Hello Julie/ Chris,

I would be interested in becoming a greeter.

Peter! I think you also responded to the newsletter item while I was gone, and then I unfortunately lost track of you. I'm so sorry!

Could you send me a private message with your email address so I can send you our "getting started" information??

Thanks so much for being patient. :-)
I am interested in becoming a greeter.   Thanks for the consideration.

I think you meet the requirements now if you'd like to get started.

I'll add you to my "contact later" list, but if you want to start sooner, just let me know!! :-)
I'd like my Greeter badge. Thanks.

Hi Paddy,

As a Greeter myself, I can attest to the fact that it is one of the best jobs on WIkiTree. Suggest you check out the Greeter page and see how to join. One of our co-leaders, Julie Ricketts, is off on a well-deserved vacation today, but Carole Partridge can help you get set up.

Shirley

Thanks, Paddy!
