Looking for information re: Salomon Crowfoot (b. 1767)

I am looking for information regarding Salomon Crowfoot. He was born around 1766 and died sometime after 1850, if I have the right one. If I do, he is probably the son of either John Crowfoot (Crofut) (1735-1759) or Stephen Crowfoot (Crofut) (1735-1791). His mother was Adrea Couch (1742-1830). Salomon was born in Newfield, Conneticut. He married Mary (unk.) and they had a daughter Mary A. Crowfoot who married Hiram Polley. Salomon is listed on the 1850 Census as Zalman Crawfoat, and he and his wife lived with Mary A. and her family in Ohio.

I am seeing quite a few Crowfoots in the Conneticut area, so I will look into them more. I was hoping that someone already had this information compiled, even if he is not himself on the list.

Cheers,

I think it goes like this.   Joseph C.(1632-1678) married Mary Hillier(1639-1674)   Their son DANIEL (1668-1707) married PHOEBE LYON (1672-1736)     Their son DANIEL (1702-1722) married AVIS ADAMS.   Their son STEPHEN (1729-1798) married ADREA COUCH(1739-1830)   Stephen and Adrea had 4 children        Stephen,Zalman,Israel and Ruth    Spellings cross referenced CROFUT/CROWFOOT AND ADREA/ADRIA.   Adrea was the daughter of Ebenezer Couch and Anne Crane.         There is a website where you might find names         our-royal-titled-noble-and-commoner-ancestors.com            Also the Connecticut State Libray has a genealogy archive  address 231 Capital Ave.  Hartford conn 06106   tollfree phone   8668864478
