Can Watchlist be editable?

I would like the WatchList to have Edit capability; i.e., when looking at my WatchList, I'd like boxes to the left of each profile that I could check off and then click on a "Remove from Watchlist".

This would also remove me as Profile Manager (or give me the option to do so) for those I'm PM on.

Thanks.

This is what http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:TrustedListChanges does.

Right now the Watchlist code is overloaded for those with thousands of profiles on there. It loads really slowly. There's just too much data.

It's on the to-do list to totally scrap the code and recreate it with Javascript instead. What we did with GEDMatches is good foundation for this.

When we do this, we could consider integrating the TrustedListChanges capability.

could you also consider something that would allow splitting the watchlist somehow?  I have a LOT of adopted profiles that I watch over, so not even the M is a good indication that the profile is my lineal ancestry. In a dream world, I'd like to be able to look at just my lineal relations, my lineal & collateral relations, and everybody else (so that's what - 4 lists? everyone together being one).  Don't know if Java would allow that easily or quickly. Maybe instead of automated, you could add a bit where someone could choose to include a profile in a separate watchlist? maybe have a, b, c watchlists that a user could use to sort as they like?

Thanks, Liz
Thanks, Chris; I'd forgotten about that tool; could that be linked to from My Watchlist?
Jillaine: There is a link to that tool from the Watchlist page. Just click the more info link to expand the info at the top of the page. Then click the link that says "in bulk" in the first paragraph.
That's a bit hidden and not obvious. Would be nice to see "make bulk changes to your watch list" on the first screen of the watchlist (and it would take you directly to YOUR watchlist without having to go through the two interim steps currently required).
I don't mind the long watchlist but it would be nice to have a secondary list of direct relatives.  This doesn't have to be automated.  Maybe you could have a way to manually add family members to this list.
This is a side comment for sure. Above showing that I selected the answer as best is my error....caused by scrolling on an iPad mini!
