Hello, I am seeking any information on the ancestors of Rev. James Robertson. He was born about 1776 in Perthshire Scotland and emigrated to first Prince Edward Island and then Carroll, Ohio in the early 1800s, One or more of his children may have been born in Canada.
Legend has it that he was descended from Gibbon de Atholia [[De_Atholia-2]] but Gibbon had "no legitimate children" so that may never be confirmed.
