I have no idea how to get anywhere on this site

Question

My grand father was charles wesley perry.  My father was George Arthur Perry. Both lived in akron ohio when i was born in 1957 I know nothing about this side of my family. Can someone help me please

If you are just looking for information about your father and his family, you may want to look at records on the FamilySearch site.  Here are a few census records that look like they could possibly be your family.  The links will take you to the records on that (free) site.

1940 census record:   Akron, Ohio

• Charles Perry   head     age 49     born in Ohio
• Anna Perry        wife        age 42     born in Switzerland
• George Perry    son        age 12     born in Ohio

1930 census record:   Akron, Ohio

• Charles Perry   head     age 38     born in Ohio
• Anna Perry        wife        age 32     born in Switzerland
• George Perry    son        age   2     born in Ohio
