So How about a WikiTree bootcamp to get OC folks up to speed?

So here's the thing: Being somewhat the over achiever and Type-A I find I am spending an inordinate amount of time reading EVERYTHING discussed on WikiTree. Now I thoroughly enjoy that, but find I am not spending enough time cleaning up my own profiles! I know that the folks in the know have tons on their plates but this is my proposal: How about an online learning boot camp to get us floundering folk up to speed? I would enthusiastically support such an endeavor. I suppose it is my EdTech background that sits on my shoulder. EEK!

Geez, I do know how to spell know and it isn't no. ;-)

I have started a local WikiTree support group, we are going to have our first gathering this month and plan on meeting bimonthly till we feel confident about what we are doing.  I agree there is a ton of stuff to read!!

Jean, It is great that you are trying to get it right.  It makes no difference whether you are new to WikiTree or a seasoned user, we all need to keep up on the best methods and practices.  A good place to start is at YouTube.  There are lots of videos about all sorts of WikiTree features, as well as advice for how to do things.  You can start HERE
