anonymous, you need to provide at least the information that you have for others to assist you.  If you provide LESS than all that you know, then you should expect us to have LESS success than you have had.
 
Do you really not even know what countries the marriage may have ocurred in ?
 
If this person has a profile, then set it to have a public bio and populate it with everything you know that is relevant - and edit your question to link to it !  There are lots of people here that are keen to help but they need to know at least what you do.

Valentine Peters was born 10 Aug 1716 in Perth, Amboy, NJ, believed to be the son of Dr. Charles Peters and Mary (Hewlett).  He married Ruth Smith who was born 19 Nov 1720 and died 14 Aug 1783.  They are buried in Town Cemetery, Hempstead, Long Island, NY
