Hi, A VERY HAPPY 4th OF JULY TO ALL !!!     my first time here. sounds like fun & informative at the same time.

my name is Martha Beaugh-15  Leger  & I was born & raised in Louisiana in a small town named Church Point  .

I have started a Beaugh Project but hit a brick wall from the beginning. I read the instructions but at my age I have trouble retaining what I read .  other members from wiki tree have tried to help me  but I can`t get it to work.because I don`t know what steps to take to add to it. may just have to put it on the back burner !!!

I hope everyone had a great week & a great month of June.

July is my favorite month of the year....love the Summer! Today is my Mom's birthday, the flowers are spectacular, fireworks this week end....I could go on.

As for my week on Wikitree, sourcing & linking profiles & integrating G2G questions has been my focus.

What's new?

Thanks for starting the chat again Doug, and love summer too...normally..when the sun is shining ..  Had a lot of rain but the weekend would be better and sure hope it does, we are going to the summerhouse this Sunday, it's the annual family reunion my mum and her brothers and sisters are spending the whole weekend in the woods..not much fun if it's raining all day .

And for all who are going to celebrate...

Love the summer, too, Doug. Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians and those with Canadian roots! And Happy 4th of July to my American cousins and WikiTree friends. (Meant to put that in first time round.) Have a great weekend everyone.

Great week in Spain, summertime.  A historical week and important for Wikitree because it looks like pretty soon you won't need to be putting UK after England in the near future.  :)

I have tons of things to get to WikiTree wise.  I was pleased that a fellow I contacted to be put a trusted list did it quickly, so I can keep going on the family I was working on.  A lot of these particular profiles are for people who lived in Monroe, Licking, Ohio, USA  which I'm doing a one-place study on.  If anyone has relatives who lived there I'd love to have you mark their profiles with [[Category: Monroe Township, Licking County, Ohio]] and I'm looking not just born, died, but married, buried, etc.

Quick 4th of July story. One 4th of July I'd gotten some fireworks when I was on a job in a state which allowed them to be sold.  So I was shooting them off behind the garage on our farm and as I was getting ready to shoot off a large one, I looked up and there passing overhead quite low was a Goodyear Blimp traveling from one venue to another I suppose.  Quite a sight!

Thanks for mentioning your One Place Study, Dave.  I'll keep an eye out for that township.
Happy 4th! The Goodyear blimp came through Sonoma County., CA 3 days ago. I could hear it coming for miles and recognized the sound from years ago when it would pass over my place in southern CA. Pretty cool!

They are having lots of activities here in Nashville, Tennessee. The Downtown Riverfront fireworks show is the biggest and most explosive around and some say it's also the most popular. However the weather may take an unwelcomed active participation in the festivities.

Please don't forget those who fought for our freedom in the United States and those who gave their life for our freedom during the American Revolution.  Check out WikiTree's American Revolution category at: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:American_Revolution

Thanks for te reminder about the reason for the holiday, Dorothy, and the reminder about the category.  I'll add a reminder about the 1776 project.  I added that tag to someone's profile yesterday, and will probably look for others in that time period in honor of this weekend.

I've been spending a lot of time on the DB Errors project, mostly working on the Fathers listed as Female error.  Most of these are not gender issues, but rather mothers and fathers listed in the wrong fields.  There are some, though where two women are listed as the two parents.  For these, I just leave a note for the PM to let them know that they might want to check the parents.  If those profiles are not corrected in a few months (it will probably take me at least four months to complete the first pass on this list of errors), I'll go back to these profiles and do the necessary research to identify the correct parents.

I finally received a fairly clean error report this morning. My name and my daughter's name still show as errors (Unique first name spellings) and I have two more unique first name spellings, which I am not the profile manager. I have reviewed these two names and they are correct according to census records and other family information.

It is nice to have a clean error report. I have enjoyed working on it.

Going to work inside this weekend. Too hot to attempt outside in the heat here in Arkansas. Was going to attempt to get with step-daughter and help her search but the grand--daughter decided she wanted to invite some friends over and celebrate her graduation again. Well I may have to wait for her to go to college.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I may pick a picture for repair. I don't advertise on the tree but I randomly pic one of the pictures in need of repair and send it to the owner to keep in practice. http://charleswest.daportfolio.com/gallery/39474 . If you have one you would like to see repaired? msg me and you might make one of my random free repairs.

Well back to the housework and taking care of the wife. She is healing well from her surgery last month.

Success. I have updated my artwork site now to get some of the repairs edited to show before and after as one pic. For now I will rest a bit.http://www.charleswestart.com/

Well , I'm Trudy Roach.  I was born in Pittsburg , Pennsylvania , USA. Moved out west to Flagstaff , Arizona in 1958 .  I'm kinda an outdoor gal. Hunting , camping , prospecting since I was little.  I don't hunt personally but went with the parents. I'm basically a worn out , retired horse and dog trainer and groomer.  I bred and showed purebred Portuguese Water Dogs and Rough Coat Collies. Those like Lassie.  Good ones .  Champions. So pedigrees are familiar to me.  Name a Collie or a Portie and I've got its line in a heartbeat. People may not keep track of their people. ,  but believe me we keep track of our animals. Gotta brag with the best of em.  I like wikitree because of the people.  Smart , dedicated , kind , giving people.  I've kept with wikitree because it's a challenge for me. I'm techno defunct ,  big time.  Most of my recent line were just people who did what they needed to do.  Preachers , Quakers , farmers , fought in wars.  All American Wars  ,  others.  I think like many others on wikitree , adversity was a way of life.  I like to see how they persevered.  Not involved in projects in actuality.  but many of my profiles fit projects .  Working on the easy fb errors . Have some trouble with parent not alive at the time their children were born ,  because some death dates are hiding somewhere. Or duplicate spouse  because my family seems to recycle names.  But it's fun.  In a wikitree kinda way.  The weather today is rainy. Monsoons are here. Last week record heat waves and mega fires. This week rain and flash floods washing over burned  out places. Yeap, Welcome to Arizona.  Oh , oh !  Gotta Facebook post from my son's friend. HE SAVED A LITTLE GIRLS LIFE LAST NIGHT!  Yea !  They were at a restaurant , a little girl fell and quit breathing. He got her breathing again. He's military , he's my hero !  I guess he is my favorite decendant . Hee , hee. He steps up. He's pulled off some pretty cool rescues. Anyway , I love hearing people's stories , love to see people being helped on wikitree.  Y'all keep it up. Thanks y'all.

As this is my first contribution here, I guess an introduction is in order. My name is Jim Lynch. I was born and grew up in Glassboro, NJ, lived in South Carolina for 25 years, and I am now living in Florida.

I am hoping to restart my genealogy research on my Stanger line (I've already found some connections here!) and I am looking for information for my girlfriend's paternal line. Her father (Raymond Thomas Garrett) was killed in an accident before she was born and she knows next to nothing about her ancestors.

As for the weather in my neck of the woods? It's Florida. It's HOT!

Hope everyone has a great 4th of July!

Welcome to WikiTree, Jim!  Thanks for stopping by the G2G Forum and saying hello.  If you have any questions about anything here, be sure to post a question.  There are lots of great people here who are willing to help.

Welcome Jim, I also have several family lines that are mixed into Pennsylvania & New Jersey... I have seen many Campbell in Jersey;

here is Kittys Library page link to help you search many different sites:

Hello from Brightlingsea, Essex, England. Rather mixed weather this weekend. Not very much bright summer sunshine. But hopefully things will improve ....

A relatively quiet weekend in our little town this weekend. Have found a bit of time to do some more work on Wikitree and am looking to develop the connections from the Jefferies family in Brightlingsea.

Its all good fun......

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi Everyone!  Happy 4th of July!  I have been busy adding resources to the profiles I have added and researching for resources of other profiles I want to still add to Wikitree.  I also organized my paper files and will be moving them to a special closet in my garage when I am finished with each ancestor.  I also spend time placing paper photos in notebooks by family and store those in the closet in our garage.  That keeps me busy on a boring day!  Lol!  Actually I do this while care giving my mother-in-law with my husband.  It is nice here in Monroe, MI so I also have been taking breaks in my time to read on my Tablet.  Have a great day!
