Greetings if a baptism record shows one of the parents names and it says (Gaurdian). What does this mean?

This is not an authoritative answer, but my guess would be that it's a misspelling of the word "guardian," and it means that parent is not a biological parent.

I think the ans is Guard--Watch over or to keep watch Guardian is to protect or protector.
