Roman Numeral typo in D. Richardson's Royal Ancestry causing generation mix-up?

Please help make right mix-up of King of Aragon and Navarre's wife's, birth and death dates, (1097-1097) and first husband's Roman Numeral generation mix-up. AGNES OF AQUITAINE had three sons, Guillaume, Guy, and Geoffroi [V].

Source:

  • Royal Ancestry by D. Richardson Vol. I page 128:

AGNES OF (AQUITAINE-17, b. 1097, married (1st) before 1117 AMAURY (AIMERY) [VI], Vicomte of Thouars. The had (3) sons, Guillaume [Vicomte of Thouars], Guy, and Geoffroi [V] [Vicomte of Thouars]. His widow married (2nd) RAMIRO II, King of Aragon and Navarre. They had one daughter, Petronila [Queen of Aragon] (wife of Raymond Berengar [IV], Count of Barcelona).

Son, GEOFFROI [V] would be a new add, I think. ;-)

Thank You,  :-)

Thank you for noting this - the date she died definitely needs to be altered.

As to Geoffroi V, often the number they are given can vary from one source to another.  Charles Cawley in the Medieval Lands database, calls him Geoffroi IV http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/AQUITAINE%20NOBILITY.htm#GeoffroyVThouarsdied1173B but you are right he might not be in Wikitree already, though I would like to look further.

Actually there are quite a few 'errors' related to this family as they are at present on Wikitree.  Petronila appears to have 2 profiles that will need to be merged, and Ramiro also at least 2 profiles.  Guy de Thouars who married Constance of Brittany is connected as the son of Agnes, when he was her grandson.  I'll see what I can do to clean these up.

The other issue is that there is some confusion over who were the parents of Agnes, does Richardson have anything to say on this?
